Dear Ms. Cardreon,
It’s already time to talk about the 6th Annual Crestview Pregnancy Center 5K (formerly
known as the Mosaic 5K). We’ve added a 10k to the race to make things exciting for next
year. The race will occur on Saturday 5 April 2014 at 8:30am, starting and ending at Old
Spanish Trail Park. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the race will benefit the
Crestview Pregnancy Center.
The Crestview Pregnancy Center (CPC) is a not-for-profit organization which has been
assisting Crestview women in crisis pregnancies since 1999. The Center provides
services including health counseling, medical services, and The Sexual Integrity
Program. The Crestview Pregnancy Center is also affiliated with Heartbeat International,
an international ministry that is a faith-based pregnancy resource center, medical clinic,
maternity home, and non-profit adoption agency endorsed by Christian leaders
nationwide. To learn more about the Heartbeat International, please visit:

The purpose of my letter is to request approval for the event from the Okaloosa County
Commissioner’s Office. You will find the necessary paperwork enclosed. As per the
permit request information sheet, I have confirmation from Greg Gaddis of the Okaloosa
Sheriff's Office via email.
