STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Colin Baenziger & Associates have completed their contract to
recruit and fill the position of County Administrator and have completed the necessary
paperwork required for a final payment to be issued.
BACKGROUND: In December 2012, Okaloosa County contracted with Colin Baenziger &
Associates to recruit and fill the position of County Administrator. On Tuesday, April 9, 2013,
the BCC ratified the employment contract with Mr. Ernie Padgett who officially started
employment on April 17, 2013 as County Administrator.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove
RECOMMENDATIONS: Request approval to move forward with final payment in the amount
of $21,500.00 to Colin Baenziger & Associates.
