READING DATE 1st 2nd ORDINANCE 1826 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH REPEALING ORDINANCE 608, DATED AUGUST 13, 1974; AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO DESIGNATE A TEMPORARY ASSISTANT CITY CLERK; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. Repeal of Ordinance 608 Ordinance 608, dated August 13, 1974, is hereby repealed. Section 2. Authorization to Designate Deputy City Clerk The City Clerk is hereby authorized to designate an employee of the City as a temporary Assistant City Clerk to act, during the absence of the City Clerk, in the same and with capacity the same force and effect as the City Clerk. Section 3. Effective Date This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council and signature of the Mayor.
