Residential Rehabilitation Program - Award Contract for RFP #
BACKGROUND:
for the Residential
City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2004-2005 budget
Rehabilitation Program in June 2004. The program is available to low- and very- low
income residents within the City of Fort Walton Beach, with a maximum grant amount
limited to $ 25, 000. The grant is secured by placing a lien upon the property
The scope of work and renovation specification was provided by A+ Home Inspection
Services in accordance with their contract with the City.
SUMMARY:
Pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 2-266, Purchasing Policies and Procedures, Ft. Walton
for
Beach Codes of Ordinances, staff requests authorization to award RFP #05- 112
residential rehabilitation to the responsive, responsible bidder, R.S. Rhoades
Remodeling in the total amount of $21 ,900. 00.
Staff recommends that City Council approve the . contract with R. S. Rhoades
Remodeling to perform residential rehabilitation work at 76 Carson Drive.
