BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: August 4, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Rick Owen SUBJECT: Heritage Museum Grant Match Request DEPARTMENT: County Administrator BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: To receive a State grant of $10,750, Mr. Steve Czonstka, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, requests matching funds from the BCC FY2014-15 budget. BACKGROUND: The Heritage Museum applied for and was notified of award of a Specific Cultural Project grant from the State of Florida. In order to receive all or some of the $10,750 award, the Museum must receive matching funds. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove request. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval to disburse funds in the amount of $10,750 to match the grant amount awarded to the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
