Manager reported that Chief Litschauer and Captain Taylor were awarded the City' s
Above and Beyond' awards for their efforts in the police re- accreditation.
The City Manager advised that the Supervisor of Elections Office has developed banners to be
hung in all cities in Okaloosa County to encourage citizens to vote, and that there will be
banners hung on Highway 98 and Eglin Parkway. She also announced the Lost Tribes program
at the Heritage Park and Cultural Center through the summer; the Senior Center Pancake
Breakfast on July 1; the Fourth of July Celebration at the Fort Walton Landing; and the Mystery
by the Book Club will meet at the Library on July 10th.
