SUBJECT: Approval of Fiscal Year 2014 1st Quarter Calendars

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: In order for Public Hearings, Workshops and Employee Award
presentations to be scheduled for the 1st Quarter of FY 2014, meeting schedules need to be
approved and published.
BACKGROUND: The attached calendars for 1st Quarter of FY 2014 (October - December)
were prepared by County Administrator’s staff in June 2013. Please note that the first meeting
in December falls on the Tuesday following the Thanksgiving holidays.
OPTIONS: Approve the attached calendars as presented or direct staff to add or change topics
and/or meeting dates as needed.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommend consideration for date change of first Board meeting in
December and approval of calendars.
