STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of final payment for contract C06-1315-TDD,
Securitas Security Services, in the amount of $288.00 for ECCC event security.
BACKGROUND: One version of the Security Services Agreement executed in August 2006
has a contract label affixed with a 9/30/2007 expiration. Another version of the same agreement
has a contract label affixed with an Indefinite expiration. Both versions contain language “will
continue until terminated upon 30 days prior written notice”, as well as “Expires 9/30/2007 -
Annual Renewed” in the additional information section.
The County Attorney has advised based on the typed date of “expires 9/30/2007” in the
additional information section, the contract needs to go out for bid and the most recent invoice
needs Board approval as final payment under this contract.
OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove
RECOMMENDATION: Approve final payment in the amount of $288.00 on contract C06-
1315-TDD.
