This is a request for approval of the contract between The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, and TPG Cultural Exchange
Services for the 2024-2025 school year, automatically renewable annually for up to three subsequent years based on the conditions of
the contract.
Upon execution of this Agreement, the District will be a participant in the TPG Cultural Exchange Services Exchange Visitor Program. On
an annual basis, TPG and the District will mutually agree on a number of qualified, eligible educators to be hired by the District for the
subsequent school year.
The attached comparison indicates the cost of a teacher position that is hired by the District directly vs. one that is provided by TPG.
The cost is projected to be less when provided by TPG since the District will be paying a fee to TPG in lieu of Florida State Retirement,
FICA (first 18 months), medical insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance.
