Godwin from American Title to release one of its properties that it insured -Lot 1, Grand Oaks, for
5000. 00. The release is for a partial release of this property only and acknowledges that this is only
partial payment of the lien. I have been working with Mr. Mearns and Toni on this. Can you advise Mr.
Mearns and if acceptable ( I recommend it) ask Council if they approve? I have no response from the
other title company and am ready to proceed with foreclosures on the other lots if the City advises. We
will need to meet on that before I do. Please advise. Thanks. Joe Lorenz

This is part of the Godwin lien issues that Joe has been handling for some time now. In my
opinion, it is outside of the mitigation procedures and should proceed as Joe is proposing.

Good Afternoon,
The attached letter appears to be in reference to a request for release of lien from a title company. I am
not overly familiar with this case and therefore may be out of line, I think it that we should be providing
these requests with a copy of the mitigation procedure ordinance ( Ord # 1793).
