Presentations
Downtown Merchants Association
Synopsis: Valerie Wenzel of the Association to publicly
thank the City for the downtown revitalization projects
Agenda Item Number: 6. 1
To the City Council, CRA, Manager and Staff,
On behalf of the merchants and property owners of downtown Fort Walton
Beach we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the continued support
and investment that you have made in the downtown area.
The new sidewalks, street lighting, benches, trash cans, landscaping and
irrigation have made a world of difference in the perception of anyone visiting or
passing through. It also gives all of us a renewed since of pride and
ownership that has been missing for quite some time.
We firmly believe that your investments have been instrumental in attracting
new businesses and inspiration for pre existing businesses to go the extra
distance by cleaning up their store fronts, extending their hours and working
together. Again, thank you so much for all that you have done and continue to do!
Sincerely,
The Merchants and Property Owners of Downtown Fort Walton Beach
