RESOLUTION NO. 2009-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2008 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO
APPROPRIATIONS OF CITY FUNDS TO PAY FOR LIBRARY SCOOTER
REPAIRS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authority
Resolution 2008-45, adopted on September 22, 2008, authorizes amendments to
the FY 2008-09 budget by resolution.
Section 2. General Fund Budget Amendment
On April 14, 2009, City Council authorized using $1,000 from the Kenneth
Harvey Trust Fund for maintenance of Library scooters for the handicapped.
Therefore, there is appropriated $1,000 from designated fund balance increasing
the General Fund budget from $19,460,939 to $19,461,939.
Section 3. Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council
and signature by the Mayor.
