Attention: George Golematis, General Manager, The Boardwalk 1450 Miracle Strip Parkway Fort Walton Beach FI, 32548 Subject: Request for Use Dear Mr. Golematis: 1. We request the use of Newman C. Brackin Park, the public areas of The Boardwalk, and the adjoining parking lot areas during the conduct of the 2015 Emerald Coast Fitness Challenge Fall Classic on October 10, 2015. The Emerald Coast Fitness Challenge Fall Classic is a timed challenge beginning and ending in front of Boardwalk with the course moving to the east .6 miles to Beasley Park and returning. The race will also include eleven obstacles for the participants to traverse along the course, which will primarily be on the beach area in front of Boardwalk and a small portion of the east parking lot. The event will have water stations, event personnel, and medical assistance available to all competitors along the course. . Check in will begin at 7:00 am and the event should be completed by 1:00 pm, with tear down following. Set up for the event will begin Friday, October 9, 2015. We anticipate up to 150 competitors.
