HTFADIN F I1, I j t 2nd ILL ORDINANCE 1853 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF FORT WALTON BEACH, AMENDING SECTION 2. 11. 12, CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO AMEND MUNICIPAL PLANNING BOARD MEETING DAYS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Authority and Intent The authority for enactment of this ordinance is contained in Chapter 166.021 and other provisions of the Florida Statutes and section 2 of the City Charter. Section 2. Amendment of Section 2. 11. 12, Meetings, Municipal Planning Board, of the Code of Ordinances Section 2. 11. 12, Meetings, Municipal Planning Board, of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows: 2. 11. 12 Meetings: Meetings of the municipal planning board shall be held at 5: 30 p.m., on the first Thursday of each month, and as needed on the third Thursday of each month, to dispense with regular business before the board. The January meeting shall be held on the second Thursday of that month. Additional meetings may be called as needed and must be announced at a prior public meeting by the elru person at the Fequest of fmif-roen+Wef ding.The location of all meetings of the municipal planning board shall be in the city in a place accessible to the public. All meetings and public hearings of the municipal planning board shall be open to the public. Public hearings shall be set for a time certain after due public notice. Section 3.
