Dear Mrs. Kilpatrick,
As in prior years, I have always provided the amount of accounts receivable to be written off as a result of
our audit, This amount has been consistently determined as those inactive balance accounts with last
activity dates of one year prior to the audit date (i.e, September 30, 2012).
The balance of these accounts on September 30, 2013, was $240, 167,64; this total will require modification
for subsequent payments, etc, when it is presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
Details of this balance by customer have been previously provided.
