20 MR. GUIDRY: -- I just wondered if there was any
21 opportunity --
22 MS. LANDRY: There is. And, you know, I'd be more
23 than happy to show you comparison why this was chosen --
24 MR. GUIDRY: No --
25 MS. LANDRY: -- what --

35
1 MR. GUIDRY: No, no. I mean, I trust you --
2 MS. LANDRY: And it --
3 MR. GUIDRY: -- just throw it out. I trust you and
4 everything.
5 MS. LANDRY: No, but the coverage, this was a more
6 efficient buy.
7 MR. GUIDRY: Okay.
8 MS. LANDRY: It was a much more affordable
9 opportunity, and having the have ability to have a
10 long-range coverage out there than it would be in SEC.
11 SEC is great. You know, NFL would be great. But at the
12 end of the day, you know, what we chose was --
13 MR. GUIDRY: Yeah, I -- I look at the SEC as being
14 the fall when we really need the business.
15 MS. LANDRY: I see what you're saying.
16 MR. GUIDRY: You -- you know, the football season
17 is, what, September to December.
18 MS. LANDRY: Right.
19 MR. GUIDRY: Whereas Atlanta is a really long one,
20 from March to October.
21 MS. LANDRY: Right.
22 MR. GUIDRY: We really need that business for that
23 fall.
24 MS. LANDRY: So that's an excellent point. I
25 mean --

36
1 MR. GUIDRY: Just throw it out.
2 MS. LANDRY: My broadcast buyer and I will go back
3 to the drawing board --
4 MR. GUIDRY: Not a problem.
5 MS. LANDRY: -- and see what we can't needle. You
6 know, see if we can't come up with something more
7 affordable on SEC side and try to get back with you on
8 that.
9 MR. GUIDRY: Okay.
10 MS. LANDRY: And then last of the logo portion of
11 our meeting, important to the meetings, conventions, and
12 groups side is religious travel, you know, faith-based
13 travel parties, partnering with the Christian Meetings
14 Association, going on faith trips, which is a leading
15 publication for faith-based travel planners, religious
16 travel planning guide.
17 And then for the corporate association, and
18 regional conferences, partners like small market
19 meetings, plan your meetings, call in some media events.
20 In fact, many of these have this lead generation program,
21 part of it in addition to media purchases. They will
22 also be working with us to broker leads.
23 And then specifically for the association
24 executives, this is not a listing of everyone that's in
25 the plan, but some standouts: Georgia, Alabama, and

1 Florida.
2 Next up are several slides. I call them the tally
3 slides, basically where it takes by campaign. So first
4 up being the leader transient campaign, then would be
5 coops, and meetings, and conventions, and groups.
6 Basically the -- outlining who the vendor is, what the
7 opportunity is, how many gross impressions are being
8 purchased, outline what campaign -- Charlotte thought
9 that was a great idea to add to that to this year's tally
10 -- so that at a -- at a quick glance you could see what
11 it was covering.
12 I think you have a question.
13 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: Before we get into this. Is
14 the 30-minute PBS spot and the -- the hotels, the New
15 Orleans and Atlanta, and the beach location hotels, where
16 can we see that at? Those ads, or those --
17 MS. LANDRY: It may be difficult -- PBS would be
18 dependent upon which market, and which station picks it
19 up so I'll --
20 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: Okay. How can we see it?
21 Because --
22 MS. CLARKE: We can share it with you guys.
23 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: -- we want to see it.
24 MS. CLARKE: We have the PBS, and we also have --
25 Kendra actually was going to introduce the Beach TV. And
Destin Reporting & Technology Group (850) 837-5078
scheduling@destinreporting.com
38
1 we can share that with y'all.
2 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: Right. I mean, if we're paying
3 for it we'd like to see it.
4 MR. LANDRY: Yeah, they're great -- they're great
5 programs. So if you can't see it as consumer, yes,
6 Kendra can share it.
7 MS. MOORE-NIXON: Well, I was going to interject.
8 The one PBS show that was already filmed -- the other
9 one's not been filmed yet -- the one that was already
10 filmed, it's -- I keep hearing it's going to be released
11 in a couple weeks.
12 And so I just got an e-mail late yesterday that
13 she's sending me a USB stick, and it will get released on
14 the website, number one. We can show, and it will then
15 go on social media. And on their website there will be a
16 clip. And then there will also be a broadcast schedule
17 of what stations around the country it will be on.
18 So as soon as I have that information -- I just
19 have been waiting from PBS themselves to hear. So as
20 soon as I have that information I can push that out to
21 you all. And we include that in the partner
22 e-newsletters, things like. We can that get that.
23 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: And -- and then the one that's
24 in the hotels now.
25 MS. MOORE-NIXON: The -- the Beach TV, yes, that

39
1 already was running. I can e-mail you a link. It's not
2 pretty in that it's a -- it's a rough-cut link of what
3 they were showing on TV, and it literally plays one right
4 after the other.
5 So it will go from New Orleans, to Atlanta, to the
6 Carolinas, to the one that showed, here which went from
7 Panama City to Pensacola, I believe. And then there's
8 also one that showed in the Keys.
9 So it literally, boom, boom, boom, goes through
10 each one of those videos. And it already ran, and then
11 we will be shooting additional ones.
12 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: You know, I think we probably
13 all would like to have it sent to us where we can click
14 on the URL and see what we're paying for.
15 MS. MOORE-NIXON: Yes. The only -- I would say
16 it's a little bit frustrating. Beach TV does not put
17 their episodes on YouTube, so I've asked numerous times
18 to get some type of a link to be able to share with
19 people, and there's not really a link. So they had to
20 send me a link to their website, and then you have to
21 multiple-click.
22 So I'll try to cut down the clicks, and send you
23 guys the easiest, most accessible version of that.
24 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: Thank you.
25 MS. MOORE-NIXON: So, just like I said, bear in
Destin Reporting & Technology Group (850) 837-5078
scheduling@destinreporting.com
40
1 mind it's the -- it's the rough-cut portion of what they
2 showed on TV.
3 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: Just -- I think for us to see
4 how they -- our -- we're being portrayed is a major part
5 of it, you know.
6 MS. LANDRY: Right.
7 MS. MOORE-NIXON: Yes. And the one on the Beach TV
8 that ran, that was springtime, and it highlighted spring
9 -- spring travel, and events, and what all's going on in
10 the Emerald Coast. And there was footage showing some
11 different festivals, plus the beach, plus things like
12 that. And then also there was a narrator who spoke
13 throughout it.
14 CHAIRMAN PETERSON: Okay. Did you have --
15 MR. DIXON: Yeah, I just -- I got a comment, and I
16 don't know, really if it's a question or comment, to be
17 honest with you.
18 I noticed in the -- the XM radio advertisement that
19 we talk about pirate boats, and ziplines, and -- and we
20 talk about -- or I look at the -- the actual -- the video
21 clip. And I got to tell you, the second video clip I
22 saw, it looked a little bit more like Panama City Beach
23 than -- than what we're trying to do.
24 MS. CLARKE: The fishing one?
25 MR. DIXON: But --
Destin Reporting & Technology Group (850) 837-5078
scheduling@destinreporting.com
41
1 MS. CLARKE: Or the --
2 MR. DIXON: The -- the -- I think we actually
3 looked at two of them.
4 MS. CLARKE: The family one?
5 MR. DIXON: Yeah. But we're showing ziplines
6 again, and, you know, I want to make sure that we're not
7 focusing in on one piece of property, that we're moving
8 this stuff around to let everybody have some exposure
9 with that -- this advertising.
10 MS. CLARKE: Uh-huh.
11 MR. DIXON: And so, you know, I -- I just really
12 want to make sure that we're fair with everything.
13 MS. CLARKE: Absolutely. The ones we did we are
14 the fam -- we being the CVB did -- are the -- is the
15 family spot.
16 The fishing rodeo -- I'm not sure which one you're
17 referring to -- the fishing rodeo, they did that one on
18 their own, so we didn't have any control over that one.
19 But the family one, yes. And you're actually going
20 to see -- the second one we don't have yet, they're
21 editing right now -- is a couple of spots that has even
22 more variety. So it shows you the other areas of your
23 destination, other activities, other things to do.
24 So we definitely understand what you're saying, and
25 we feel like we've achieved that -- I know it's probably
Destin Reporting & Technology Group (850) 837-5078
scheduling@destinreporting.com
42
1 hard, because you haven't the second spot yet --
2 MR. DIXON: Uh-huh.
3 MS. CLARKE: But we definitely did take that into
4 account.
5 MR. DIXON: Yeah. Well, like I said, in just
6 listening to the XM radio spot, we had pirate boats and
7 ziplines, both are on one piece of property, that's the
8 only place they are. And to be fair, I just think we
9 need to move it around.
10 MS. CLARKE: Absolutely. And there's -- to note on
11 the radio, there's four different radio spots. And they
12 each -- they're spring, summer, fall and winter, and each
13 of them highlight different things to --
14 MR. DIXON: Okay.
15 MS. CLARKE: To do.
16 MR. DIXON: Thank you.
17 MS. CLARKE: So -- but we'll make sure that those
18 are all sent out to you, because you've only heard
