The Beautification Committee/ Tree Board consists of seven members a nd acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council relating to improved appearance and beautification of the City. The Committee will convene, when necessary, as the Tree Board to review and propose tree related standards, provide community education related to tree conservation, plan for Arbor activities, Day provide public forums for citizens concerned about community trees, and perform other tasks as assigned by the City Council. Membership is not limited to City residents. DISCUSSION: Council may submit a nominee for consideration. An application must be filled out prior to recommendation.
