DISCUSSION:
Staff prepared a Memorandum to the Municipal Planning Board with a Staff Report, which
includes general background infonnation, a project description and a chronology of the zoning
and development of the request site. The Staff Report also includes a determination of
applicable law, consistency of the request with the Comprehensive Plan and detennination of
appropriateness of the request, including suggested findings for the MPB regarding the 13
criteria enumerated.
Ordinance 1733, if adopted would rezone the 1. 38- acre site to the MUCC- 1 District and amend
the Official Zoning Map of the City, accordingly.
The City Council may:
1) Accept the recommendation of the Municipal Planning Board, that the request is
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and approve Ordinance 1733; or
2) Find the request inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and apply another zoning
designation which is found by Council to be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan;
or
3) Find the request inconsistent and deny Ordinance 1733.
Ordinance 1733, if adopted would rezone the parcel owned
RECOMMENDATION:
The Municipal Planning Board recommended that City Council approve Ordinance 1733.
