STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Lease for Timberview Helicopters, Mr. Justin Johnson,
for sightseeing tours is being presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: Timberview Helicopters, Inc., Mr. Justin Johnson, requests to conduct
sightseeing flight operations from the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport (DTS). Lease for
sightseeing operations, minimum standards, and operating policy is attached along with
Timberview's certificate of insurance and the contract and lease internal coordination sheet.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject, or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve this Lease as
described above.
