BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: February 7, 2017 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Dan Sambenedetto SUBJECT: Network Cabling and Repair Contract renewals DEPARTMENT: Information Technology BCC DISTRICT: ALL STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Information Technology Department's Network Cabling and Repair Services Contracts will expire on February 17, 2017 for Glaze Communications Services, Inc. C14-2147-IS, Network Cabling Services, Inc. C14-2146-IS and Universal Cabling Systems, Inc. C14-2148-IS. These contracts must be renewed to continue important infrastructure jobs for the county. BACKGROUND: On 03/01/16 the Chairman signed the second one year contract renewal with a term of 02/18/16 to 02/17/17. These contracts are eligible for an additional one (1), one (1) year renewal period. This agreement has been through the Purchasing review process. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends Board approval of another one-year contract renewal for each of the above-mentioned vendors. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
