STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PUR] Seeking Board approval to solicit a RFQ for GIS
Engineering Services.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Information Systems requests Board consideration to solicit a
RFQ for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional engineering services. The firms
for professional GIS engineering services would provide assistance with a full range of digital
photogrammetric services. The nature of the service will be to provide ongoing support and
coordination to enhance and ensure proper implementation of the GIS photogrammetric system
components. The Board is also requested to approve a review committee. The committee will
include: Dan Sambenedetto, Chuck Larouche, Kim Steele, and Joel Hearne.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny solicitation of a RFQ for Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
professional engineering services.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of solicitation of a RFQ for Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) professional engineering services.
