her father pass away, Ms. Thomas was overwhelmed by grief, and her owri personal circumstances. Understandably, she went into a deep depression. Given the nature of her v struggles, it is also understandable that she neglected her property. V With help, Ms. Thomas has recovered from her depression. While she continues to live with 7 her mother due to her financial situation, she is optimistic about the real estate market and she is fighting to regain her financial health. However, Ms. Thomas needs more surgery. She has no insurance mid because she owns properly, she does not qualify for Medicaid. Ms. Thomas presently has the property under contract for sale at $ 150, 000, and is hoping to be able to get ti this surgery soon with proceeds of the sale. um w As part of the sales process a title search was done. Ms. Thomas was shocked to learn the extent of code enforcement liens on her property. She knew she had violations in the past, but she believed she had come into compliance on all occasions, prior a hearing being set on all a violations. As to the liens in CASE NO: 07- 00000852 and CASE NO: 11- 00000020, She believes she never received actual notice of these hearings as a result of her living in multiple homes during those times. This seems to be verified by the certified mail receipts in her file T showing the Notices as " return to sender, not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward ". 00 While the City has previously, graciously, agreed to releasing liens on the property for payment of $3, 750. However, after paving property taxes, closing costs, and the IRS tax lien, Ms. Thomas will have little to show after the sale. As such, due to the foregoing mitigating circumstances, we respectfully request the City waive all of these liens. Thank you for considering our request and we look forward to your response. 3: m Sincerely, co Ce Sl Dad Paul Plourlacker uawa3jo ;u3 apoo jo;; senbaa : 94ZZ) 6aewwng sea=l put suai-1 anuany qnlp ,O; unoo C99 4uawg3e; 7V amam Y YU aAUA a 4 P 9 9 9 I Fees Selection Case number, type: 07 00000852 ROOF MAINTENANCE property address, ID: 653 COUNTRY CLUB AVE NE 28252 Tenant number, name: Kathy Thomas 259 -5791 CODE ENFORCEMENT FINE9 35100 00 o / t2 / OB 00' GO, 00': r E O0 FEES OEAOLITICX / ABA]' EMENT a.._.._.. r 0 00 FEEv - GEN INISAXCE AeA' MNT 00 09 C 00 FEE9 - LOT COTI' ING AEATEMNT 00 OOJ M Y eru n a luawoolo ;u3 apop Io; lsonboM : 94ZZ) tiewwnS seaj pue sua -1 enuany gnlp lilunoo ESS quowgoelltl F a ICI a u Yaum P 9 d ti' i Fees Selection Case number, type: 11 00000020 GRASS HEIGHT.
