Ninth Avenue Pensacola, FL 32503 J. Phillip Warren: Thank you for your letter dated February 16, 2009 concerning the property located at 653 Country Club Avenue Northeast, Fort Walton Beach. I re- inspected the property on February 16, 2009 and found it to be in compliance. As of February 16, 2009 a lien had accrued in the amount of $15, 700.00 including an additional $ 650.00 in administrative fees. The property owner, Kathi Thomas, has expressed to me that after her property is brought into compliance she would like to petition the City Council to have the lien removed. The City' s policy in code enforcement cases that have accrued a lien on the property in which the property owner desires to have the lien removed is to forward the request to the City Council for a resolution.
