The meeting will be held at the City Hall, 198 N. Wilson St., Crest- view, FL at 9:00 AM or soon thereafter. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the County’s intent to apply for public transportation funds in the amount of $1,357,500 in Capital funds assistance and $1,058,183 in operat- ing funds for Fiscal Year 2016 allocation from the Federal Transit Administration and to hear public comments on the proposed Programs of Projects. Capital Funds will be used to replace public transit vehicles that are past their useful life as defined by FTA, preventative main- tenance, purchase a mobile administrative facility, office equip- ment, planning service, furniture & graphics and surveillance and security. Operating funds will be used toward operating expenses incurred by the County and its contracted provider. Copies'of proposed Program of Projects can be viewed at Okaloo- sa County Transit, 600 Transit Way, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The proposed Program of Projects will become the final Program of Projects if no public comments are received.
