BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: September 6, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: David Skarzynski, Budget Manager SUBJECT: Budget Resolution(s) STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Budget Resolutions. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fu nd, from Florida Department of State (FDOS) for additional state aid to libraries grant, in the amount of $185. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fu nd, from Executive Office of the Governor-Division of Emergency Management (EOG-DEM) for Emergency Management Preparedness & Assistance (EM PA) Base Grant to provide each county with the means to successfully manage & operate an emergency management program grant, in the amount of $105,806. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fu nd, from Executive Office of the Governor-Division of Emergency Management (EOG-DEM) for Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG); Federal Emergency Management Agency -for organizational, planning, traini ng, exercise, equipment and management and administration costs grant, in the amount of $84,734. Resol ution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fu nd, for confiscated property proceeds, in the amount of $20,690. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, Water & Sewer Enterprise Fu nd, from Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (FDEO) for Shoal River Military I nstallation Buffering Project grant, in the amount of $300,000. Resol ution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, Solid Waste Enterprise Fu nd, from Walton County for charges for services on cooperative agreement, in the amount of $22,437. RECOMMENDATION: Staff requests Board approval of attached Budget Resolutions.
