Walton Beach, FL 32547 Dear County Commissioners: We understand that at the March 17, 2014, BCC meeting there was a discussion concerning Destin MSBU. On behalf of Holiday Isle Improvement Association’s members, we would like to request your dropping the MSBU going forward. Being that the project cost was less than originally estimated, we feel the homeowners of Holiday Isle would greatly appreciate and benefit from the MSBU being rescinded. We had planned to attend the meeting, however, we were unable due to a conflict in our schedule. Ifthere is anything we can do please do not hesitate to contact us. As soon as you know the date of the next meeting with the MSBU as an agenda item, please let us know so we can schedule attendance. The West Destin Beach Restoration project was a huge success. It was a tremendous effort by all involved especially considering the unwarranted opposition. It would have never happened without the untiring persistence and dedication of the Okaloosa BCC and the TDC.
