SUBJECT: Public Hearing for Section 5307 Program of Projects
DEPARTMENT: Growth Management

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Growth Management Department requests the Board conduct a
public hearing to receive public comment regarding the Program of Projects for the FY 2015
Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5307 grant application.
BACKGROUND: The County utilizes funds derived from Section 5307 of Title 49 of the US
Code as administered by the Federal Transit Administration to fund both fixed route and
paratransit operations. The attached list of projects describes the purposes for which the FY
5307 allocation will be utilized.
The attached Programs of Projects will become final if no public comments are received.
RECOMMENDATIONS: The Department recommends the Board to receive public comment
on the proposed Program of Projects for the FY 2015 Section 5307 application and, if there are
no objections, to approve the list to be included as part of the FY 2015 Section 5307 application
which will be presented to the Board during a subsequent meeting.
