BACKGROUND: In December 2012, Okaloosa County contracted with Colin Baenziger & Associates to recruit and fill the position of County Administrator. On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, the BCC ratified the employment contract with Mr. Ernie Padgett who officially started employment on April 17, 2013 as County Administrator.
