Permitted Vehicle on the Beach, Park, and Recreation Areas; Section 8: Commercial Activity on Public Lands: Section 10. Permit for a Designated Beach Property to obtain a Qualified Beach Vendor Certificate (QBVC) and Qualified Beach Vendor Beach Vehicle Permit (QBVBVP). Granting this request will permit said business to conduct commercial beach chair and umbrella rentals on designated public beaches and access the beaches of Okaloosa Island in a specified vehicle on scheduled dates/times. Peacock, Sheriff's Office SUBJECT: Request Approval of LETF Disbursement The Sheriff is requesting the Board approve Law Enforcement Trust Fund disbursements in the following amounts: 1. $500 for The Boy Scouts of America, Choctawhatchee District; 2. $500 for the Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers; 3. $500 for Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital. An additional disbursement is also included for the City of Niceville. The City of Niceville has an assigned detective to the county drug task force and by agreement is entitled to a portion of the task force’s forfeiture proceeds. This disbursement is for the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2013. The requesting letters are attached for Board review and consideration. If approved, the LETF will have expended $31,840 of $35,000 as approved by the board.
