STATEMENT OF ISSUE: (FM) Request BCC approval of the recommended members for the
Selection Committee for the CM for the Sheriff's New Shalimar Building
BACKGROUND: At the February 4th, 2014 BCC meeting, the Board authorized advertising for
a Construction Manager for the Sheriff's new Shalimar building. The RFQ has been completed
after extensive internal reviews. The RFQ is in the hands of county Purchasing to be put out for
proposals.
Once the proposals are received, your authorized Selection Committee will review the
responsive proposals and make a recommendation to the Board as to the firm that appears to be
the most highly qualified.
The recommended members of the Selection Committee for the CM for the Sheriff's new
Shalimar building are:
Ernie Padgett, County Administrator
Maj. JD Peacock, Sheriff’s Office
Donald Turner, Facilities Maintenance Director
Jason Autrey, P.E., County Engineer
Elliott Kampert, Growth Management Director
RECOMMENDATIONS: (FM) Request BCC approval of the recommended members for the
Selection Committee for the CM for the Sheriff's New Shalimar Building
