Please incorporate into the contract, and this contract is approved for legal sufficiency. | highly recommend that in the agenda memorandum accompanying this contract to the Board it explain that this is retroactive and why it is retroactive — Ms. Roberts explanation was spot on, and in the action request that it be approved back to that date — that way you should be able to avoid any issues. Question in Comments: Is this the correct dates? Are we attempting to back date this, if so, what is the justification? Answer/justification: This grant award covers the period noted. It is only due to unforeseen changes in the FDLE process that have caused such a delay in the final subagreement. It is the desire of the project to submit invoices for services already provided, during the grant award period, beginning Oct. 1, 2015.
