BACKGROUND:
for the Residential
City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2005- 2006 budget
Rehabilitation Program in June 2004. The program is available 10 low- and very-low
income residents within the City of Fort Walton Beach, with a maximum grant amount
limited to $25, 000.00. The grant is secured by placing a lien upon the property.
The scope of work and renovation specification was provided by A +Home Inspection
Services in accordance with their contract with the City. R. S. Rhoades Remodeling
Drive.
submitted the low bid of $24, 550. 00 for the scope of services 10 rehab 303 Kepner
SUMMARY:

Pursuant 10 Chapter 2, Section 2- 266, Purchasing Policies and Procedures,
Beach Code of Ordinances, staff requestsauthorization to award the contract for
Rhoades
rehabilitation services to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, R. S.
