Public Content
Destin Middle School is requesting the approval of a self-help project to restore functionality and beauty to the existing restrooms in the
school’s concession stand area. Our neighborhood school is widely used and these areas receive a high volume of traffic by local and
visiting families. We take great pride in our school district and school and feel this area requires attention to represent our stakeholders
properly.
The total project is estimated at $7,551 with budget details of the refresh project in a separate spreadsheet. The work for the project is
being graciously donated by Mr. Mark J. Borgen of MB Construction of Destin L.L.C. His letter-in-kind is also attached. I respectfully
request approval to start the project during July and wrap up before August 30, 2023.
Please contact Dr. Bill Smith for additional information, 689-7158.
