SUBJECT: West Hangar Area Improvement Project - Project Execution Plan

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board is requested to approve the Project Execution Plan for
the strategy administering the design, permitting, bidding and construction phase services of the
West Hangar Area Improvements Project - West Hangar Area Parking and Emerald Coast
Aviation FBO Terminal at Bob Sikes Airport.
BACKGROUND: The project will generally consist of two separate designs that will be
constructed concurrently. These two schedules are referred to hereinafter as “Schedule A,” which
includes the majority of the horizontal work, and “Schedule B,” which includes FBO terminal
and the adjacent site work. Due to the complexities and responsibilities of both projects and in
the interests of the County and Emerald Coast Aviation, a "plan" addressing the responsibilities
is assembled in writing as a professional agreement.
