PMI LEASING REQUEST
Request by Mrs. Brooks owner of PMI Employee Leasing, Inc., located at 127 Miracle
Strip
Parkway SW, seeking clarification of the Land Development Code as it pertains to animal rescue
shelter and kennels.
The City Attorney advised Council the issue
by Mrs. Brooks is already in the code enforcement
process, and if she has an issue about an administrative decision that has been
made, the proper
forum would be an appeal to the Board of
Adjustment. The City Attorney advised Council to limit
comments and questions to Mrs. Brooks
presentation, and Staff was asked not to involve
themselves at this point as they will be
presenting their own cases to the Code Enforcement and
Board of Adjustment.
Janice Brooks and D. C. Mickel of PMI
Employee Leasing, requested clarification regarding a letter
received from the Code Enforcement Board and the
Mayor regarding violations as it pertains to
animal rescue shelters and kennels at the PMllocation.
The Mayor advised that concerns should be taken to
the Code Enforcement Board or the Board of
Adjustment as a final decision on a resolution to the situation is not up to Council.
