STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval for a three-year contract extension to Genesis contract C14-

2158-TDD for the provision of consulting engineering services.
BACKGROUND: Examples of engineering services provided by Genesis include beach accessway
improvements, ECCC roof leak remediation, and Welcome Center interior renovations. The Genesis
contract provides for one three-year renewal beyond the initial three-year term expiration of September
30, 2016. Staff recommends executing the three-year renewal through September 30, 2019.
Pursuant to section E.200 of the TDD Manual, the Council shall review and provide a recommendation
for all proposed contracts requiring Board approval.
OPTIONS: Approve or Deny
RECOMMENDATION TO BCC: Approve a three-year contract extension to Genesis contract C14-
2158-TDD for the provision of consulting engineering services.
