SUBJECT: Approval of an Utility Easement for Woodlands Park
DEPARTMENT: Public Works

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Approve an utility easement to Choctawhatchee Electric
Cooperative, Inc. (Chelco) to install electric service to the south side of the Woodlands Park
property located in the Bluewater Bay area.
BACKGROUND: An irrigation well has been installed at the Woodlands Park. Facility
Maintenance staff recently installed the utility pole and necessary wiring to provide power to the
well. The easement is required by Chelco in order to establish electrical service for the location.
The easement has received the proper approvals through the County's coordination process.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove utility easement to Chelco to provide electrical service to the
south side of Woodlands Park.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Accept and record the utility easement to Chelco to provide
electrical service to the south side of the property at the Woodlands Park.
