BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: August 4, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: David Skarzynski, Budget Manager : Dist All SUBJECT: Budget Resolutions & Transfer STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Budget Resolutions & Transfers. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, General Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Executive Office of the Governor-Division of Emergency Management (EOG-DEM) for 2015-2016 Emergency Management Preparedness & Assistance (EMPA) Base Grant to provide each county with the means to successfully manage & operate an emergency management program grant, in the amount of $105,806. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, General Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Executive Office of the Governor-Division of Emergency Management (EOG-DEM) for Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG); Federal Emergency Management Agency - for organizational, planning, training, exercise, equipment and management and administration costs grant, in the amount of $84,354. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, General Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Executive Office of the Governor-Division of Emergency Management (EOG-DEM) for hazardous materials planning and prevention - hazards analyses update grant, in the amount of $10,971. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, Airport Enterprise Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for terminal flooring and lighting upgrade & parking lot lighting improvements and with JPA #1 add terminal walkway improvements at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport grant, in the amount of $332,386. BT-15-36 Airport Enterprise Fund. Provide local match for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for terminal flooring and lighting upgrade & parking lot lighting improvements and with JPA #1 add terminal walkway improvements at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport grant, in the amount of $332,386. RECOMMENDATION: Staff requests Board approval of attached Budget Resolutions & Transfers.
