BACKGROUND: The Board previously authorized the settlement of a property damage claim for an industrial facility owned by Dr. Paul Hsu on January 22, 2013. The settlement included two payments in the amount of $185,000 and a final payment of $180,000 for a total of $550,000 payable over three years. The property damage was a result of gasoline leaks from ground storage tanks on a County facility decades ago. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove RECOMMENDATIONS: : Approve final payment to Dr. Paul Hsu in the amount of $180,000. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
