WHEREAS,- the State of Florida, Department of Transportation ("FDOT") has budgeted and appropriated funding for the project herein described as Financial Project No. 42561529401; and WHEREAS, the Florida DetJart.ment of TranstJortatioRFDOT has been granted the authority to enter into a Joint Participation Agreement -with Okaloosa the County for the project as more particularly set forth in the Joint Participation Agreement- (~ "-JPA-"), which is attached to this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the County agrees to provide the matching funds as set forth in the JP A and to abide by the mutual covenants, promises and representations contained therein. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County as follows: 1. The Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the attached JPA. 2.
