/:‘;/Da A 719 \5&0\9/(/ A/ Mr. Dick Schoditsch, Chair Institute for Senior Professionals Northwest Florida State College 110 College Blvd. Niceville, Florida 32578 May 5, 2015 Dear Mr. Schodistch: In preparation for our August Workshop on the Airports in Okaloosa, the Board of County Commission would ask the Institute for Senior Professionals {ISP) to consider a project on the Airspace as its effect on 2017 BRAC. Scope of Work: e Understanding all the competing activities for use of the Eglin complex land, water, and air ranges/Airspace. e Scheduling techniques used to accommoadate the varied activities which impact the airspace. ¢ Controlling agencies that actually direct the air activity (Federal, State, County, Air Force, local). ¢ Relative priorities of interested parties e Okaloosa County’s influence over the interested airspace and facility parties ¢ Funding sources for all the activity Encroachment on the Enterprise that could affect a future BRAC round ¢ Overall management of the Enterprise. We understand that this would give the ISP three months to complete this project since the workshop is scheduled for August. Thank you for your assistance in this important economic driver of Okaloosa County. We are very aware of the joint use partnership with Eglin Air Force Base. We look forward to your findings.
