Pursuant to your request for rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates for comparison of
construction costs for renovation of existing facilities versus new construction, we have broken
down the comparison into the following four options.
_ Option 1 — New two-story building of approximately 50,000-SF

Additional items: demolition, sitework, landscaping,
telecommunications, site lighting,
A/E fees, and Civil Engineer fee 1,505,000

If the County elects to complete these sections of work with their forces, deduct:
