STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff requests BCC Approval to exercise the last one year renewal
stipulated in the existing Lease Agreement between Okaloosa County Water & Sewer and
Skyetech, LLC at 1310 Oddfellow Road -Unit D in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This unit is
located in a building owned by Okaloosa County Water & Sewer.
BACKGROUND: Okaloosa County Water & Sewer purchased the building on the east side of
Oddfellow Road in 2006, and currently has four tenants resulting in $37,830.00 rent annually.
This lease renewal would be for the standard one year term - 11/20/2014 TO 11/19/2015. A copy
of the original lease and a copy of the lease renewal are attached. The annual rent for this lease
will be $5,088.00, payable as 12-$424.00 monthly payments.
OPTIONS: Approve or deny the Lease Agreement for Skyetech, LLC.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval by the BCC to authorize the Chairman
to execute the Lease Agreement Renewal with Skyetech, LLC.
