Memorandum of Understanding between the Okaloosa County School District and the “I Love U Guys” Foundation. The Okaloosa
County School District (the “District”) intends to incorporate Standard Response Protocol (SRP) in the official, existing, written safety
plans of all schools in the District, either in the body or as an addendum or amendment. Standardizing response protocols and
vocabulary provides continuity of expectations and actions for students, faculty and staff. For first responders SRP enhances
predictability upon response that persists throughout the duration of the incident. Additionally, it establishes easy to understand practices
that can be reinforced by parents.
