STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PUR] Purchasing seeks authorization from the Board to add #57
stone to the contract with Vulcan Materials (C14-2074-PW).
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: The current contract (C14-2074-PW) does not list #57 stone.
Public Works seeks to add this product to the contract with Vulcan Materials as the amount of
#57 stone needed for construction would be best supported by a contract amendment.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove the addition of #57 stone to the current contract with Vulcan
Materials.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approving the addition of #57 stone to Contract
Number C14-2074-PW with Vulcan Materials.
