SUBJECT: Kronos Timekeeping System Purchase

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to purchase and implement the Workforce Ready
Timekeeping System for 11 EMS stations from Kronos, Inc., for a total cost of $65,811.00.
BACKGROUND: Funding for the purchase is provided for in the EMS FY 14 Budget,
Accounts 4500-544640 and 4500-546900. This is a sole source purchase due to the system’s
unique ability to interface with our existing Telestaff scheduling and Pentamation systems. This
will complete the automation of our scheduling and timekeeping systems.
OPTIONS: Approve or reject.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommend approval.
