DINANCE 2052 ( CORRECTED) WITH CHANGES
WHEREAS, on May 24, 2022, City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 2052
for the voluntary annexation of property located at 999 Mar Walt Drive into the City limits of
Fort Walton Beach, Florida;
WHEREAS, after Ordinance No. 2052 was recorded with the Okaloosa County Clerk of
Courts on May 31, 2022, City Staff deten-nined there were Scrivener' s errors in the legal
description of the property at 999 Mar Walt Drive;
WHEREAS, City Staff and the City Attorney deters p- ined a corrective ordinance was
necessary to amend the City' s municipal boundary to correct the legal description for the
property at 999 Mar Walt Drive.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Authority and Intent
The authority for enactment of this ordinance is contained in Chapter 166. 021( 1), and
171. 044 of the Florida Statutes, and Section 2 of the City Charter.
Section 2. Amendment of City' s Municipal Boundary
The following legal description, corrected for Scrivener' s errors, of the recently annexed
property at. 999 Mar Walt Drive is hereby incorporated into the rnunicipal boundary of the City
of Fort Walton Beach:

At the time of the annexation, there were medical office buildings on the
parcels.
Section 3. Effective Date
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, on second reading by City
Council and the signature of the Mayor.
