Spencer Subject: FW: Bidding on Property Management Contract for 17 Industrial Street ( PASARDA Hall) Re- sending this e- mail from a week ago. I haven' t had any response yet. greg dillon From: dillon07g23@hotmaii. com To: fwbmayor@fwb. org CC: fwbcmgr@fwb. org; fwbclerk @fwb. org; teresejdill @hotmail. com; hka616 @cox. net Subject: Bidding on Property Management Contract for 17 Industrial Street ( PASARDA Hall) Date: Tue, 5 May 2009 13: 36: 29 - 0500 Mr. Mayor- In reviewing the agenda for tonight's council meeting I came across information that the current contract for the management of PASARDA Hall expires at the end of this month. At this point I am inquiring as to procedures for competing for this contract. Myself and others that live directly behind or adjacent to the facility have had issue with intermittent problems from loud music and/ or voices at times over the course of the last 3 -4 years. Based on precedent it is my belief this would be the only way to control the noise problem. That is if someone on Maples Street is responsible for the contract. Most of the time but not always the noise problem has manifested on weekends, mainly at night. It must be pointed out that the problems don' t seem to be from any official groups the city lists as " purposes" for the building. There have been complaints lodged with Police, City codes, and one of the current management contract holders ( Mr. Patty). Though steps have been taken in the past to quiet tenants down there doesn' t seem to be any follow through on keeping it from happening again, and again and again. I' m not trying to make a mountain out of a molehill here, but frustration reigns when the established procedures for remedy don' t ensure peace. Respectfully, Greg Dillon 14 Maples Street NW Fort Walton Beach, Florida 850) 499 -4761 7/ 24/ 2009 - 78- Page 1 of 1 Helen Spencer From: Highsteppers [ highsteppers@cox.net] Sent: Thursday, March 12, 2009 11: 39 AM To: Helen Spencer Subject: Highsteppers Lease Helen: I see it is time to renew our lease at 17 Industrial St. NW. City may want to reconsider the dollar value of the lease as most of our leases are going for fair market value. The City Attorney has notes in her file that advises the present lease is questionable and the municipal purpose of the lease may need to be fair market value. Please discuss the above with your board and write us a letter ASAP but before April 1, or the lease will automatically terminate. Please send me your telephone number at your convenience.
