STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking Board approval to utilize the State of Florida Sheriff’s
Contract for the purchase of one (1) EA 2014 Bobcat Loader Model #T870.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: The Water & Sewer Department has requested the purchase
of a Skid Steer Loader. The State of Florida Sheriff’s Contract has an EA 2014 Bobcat Loader
Model #T870 that meets the specs of the requested loader. The total cost of the loader is
$88,200.08. The Purchasing Manual allows for the use of State contract prices without further
negotiations. The Water & Sewer Department has provided documentation that funding is
available for the purchase.
OPTIONS: Award or Reject purchase of one (1) EA 2014 Bobcat Loader Model #T870.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approving purchase of One (1) EA 2014 Bobcat
Loader Model #T870 from State of Florida Sheriff’s Contract.
