STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Lease renewal for MD Hangar, LLC, Mr. Michael Daugherty,
Block 7 Lot 1, at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport is being presented to the Board of County
Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: On August 17, 2004 the Board of County Commissioners approved a
generic hangar lease for hangar renewals. MD Hangar, LLC, Mr. Michael Daugherty's, hangar
lease will expire on May 17, 2013 and Mr. Daugherty has requested to renew his hangar lease.
This lease renewal is in accordance with the generic lease. The contracts and lease internal
coordination sheet and Mr. Daugherty's certificate of insurance are attached.
OPTIONS: Approve/ Disapprove/Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve this Hangar
Lease Renewal as described.
